Timed to coincide with the 2012 US election, this is a comedy about two warring politicians (Ferrell and Galifianakis) in a small congressional district in South Carolina. It’s also a comment on the circus of modern day politics. From the director of ‘Dinner For Schmucks’, ‘Austin Powers’ and a couple of excellent TV movies about politics (‘Game Change’, ‘Recount’). Ferrell and Galifianakis are both on good form. The more you follow U.S. politics, the more you’ll get out of it. It’s well informed fun and has a good point to make about what’s broken.
