The 23 Most Ridiculous Deaths of 2012

22 Excess Coca-Cola Consumption Cited in Woman’s Death

Natasha Harris, a stay-at-home mom from New Zealand, had a habit of drinking two gallons of Coca-Cola a day. That is this much soda.

Five 2-liters of Coca Cola a day! Not a week, a day. Doctors say it was this habit that contributed to the heart attack and death of the seemingly healthy 30-year-old woman.

Now, while Harris died in 2010, the medical findings have only just come in indicating that the soda is likely to blame in this situation, but it’s worth pointing out that harris, at 30 years old, had eight, EIGHT, children. Maybe she didn’t need a bottle (or six) of Coca-Cola so much as she needed a kilo of coke to keep up with that many kids running around.
