9 Bacon Hash Browns
Quit playing games with the hearts of those in your breakfast club and try this tasty dish on for size. Everyone’s fond of sipping coffee over a plate full of eggs, regular meats and an array of fruit, but introducing potato fritters to your weekend meal plan can really shake things up. And you know what they say about bacon. It’s an early-morning delicacy that can be enjoyed on the side, or in this case, inside of a breakfast side that McDonald’s has a hard time perfecting. Luckily, you can make your own hash browns by creating a potato mixture made up of three medium potatoes, an onion, a few strips of bacon and your regular requirements for batter (flour, mik, eggs). As soon as its mixed, tablespoonfuls of the mixture can be added to a cast-iron pan and deep fried for a few minutes until they’re golden brown and ready to be drained. Adding a dash of salt enhances the flavour but since they’re hash browns designed to be enjoyed with another side dish (particularly more bacon), they should be eaten immediately or kept warm in an oven until they’re ready to serve!
