Despite what Hollywood types might claim, the secret to why some movies succeed and other movies fail is something nobody knows. Everyone involved in the production of a box office smash is happy to take credit for its success, but when a movie fails, no one is quite so eager to take blame.
This year’s failed films include something from just about every genre: musical, comedy, children’s films, science fiction, and even a film based on a board game. Some of these movies may be great, and some are certainly terrible, but the one thing they all share in common is that they didn’t do nearly as well as they were expected to do.
