Wahlberg plays a Boston man whose childhood wish, for his teddy bear to come to life, came true. But as an adult the bear’s vulgar slacker lifestyle is interfering with attempts to woo Mila Kunis. Director Seth MacFarlane, of ‘Family Guy’, will provide the voice of the CG-generated Ted. It’s MacFarlane’s directorial debut and the premise should provide a suitable springboard for his edgy humour. Wahlberg showed great comic potential in ‘The Other Guys’.
