Knocked Up spin-off focusing on a story from Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie’s (Leslie Mann) current life. Director Apatow says audiences really responded to their characters and their problems so he wanted to explore further ground with them. I’m sure it has nothing to do with Apatow being married to Mann. This is Apatow’s second movie about being forty. Megan Fox has been given a big role, which always carries its risks. Jason Segal is returning briefly as the inappropriate stoner from ‘Knocked Up’. All we know plot-wise is that Pete now runs a record label, Fox’s character won’t come between him and Debbie, and that the couple are coming to terms with life over the hill.
